The History of HCDC

The Hispanic Community Development Center began in response to the rapidly increasing Hispanic population needs in Wayne County, North Carolina. English language classes, job assistance, and interpreter services were the center's initial activities and continue to be the focus of the organization, along with other added services for the entire community. The HCDC was incorporated in 2002 as a dream of one gentleman to help the Hispanic community. It rapidly grew and was established at the current site as a non-profit organization in 2005.
